If the moon had a bad day
didn't get out of bed
lied on its side
and sighed
would you notice?
There are benefits
to being a
round.

I always put new poems away overnight and then reread in the morning. I like this. A lot. Perhaps minor tweakage will follow but I'm very happy with it. I love all the double meanings.

Hmmm, maybe I'll try (Revision):

If the moon had a bad day
wouldn't get out of bed
lied on its side
and sighed
would anyone notice?
There are fringe benefits
to being
a
round.
